Quantum RAM Based Neural Netoworks
A mathematical quantisation of a Random Access Memory (RAM) is proposed starting from its matrix representation. This quantum RAM (q-RAM) is employed as the neural unit of q-RAM-based Neural Networks, q-RbNN, which can be seen as the quantisation of the corresponding RAM-based ones. The models proposed here are direct realisable in quantum circuits, have a natural adaptation of the classical le...
متن کاملRAM Design Using Quantum-Dot Cellular Automata
Quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) is a novel and potentially attractive technology for implementing computing architectures at the nano-scale. By applying a set of simple layout rules, arbitrary circuits can be made using QCA cells. In this work, we describe the design and layout of a QCA random access memory (RAM), showing the layout of individual memory cells, as well as, a suggested layout...
متن کاملToward a Personal Quantum Computer
The realization of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) as a means to perform useful quantum computations has warranted a detailed discussion regarding the physics and instrumentation underlying the construction of a NMR quantum computer to facilitate the design of a desktop quantum computer. A brief overview of classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, and statistical mechanics is presented with New...

Intensive research on the construction of superconducting quantum computers has produced numerous important achievements. The quantum bit (qubit), based on the Josephson junction, is at the heart of this research. This macroscopic system has the ability to control quantum coherence. This article reviews the current state of quantum computing as well as its history, and discusses its future. Alt...
متن کاملChirping a two-photon transition in a multi-state ladder
Fresnel diffraction at a straight edge leads to an intensity pattern determined by the Cornu spiral 1,2 . The latter results from an integral with a quadratic phase. The Talbot effect 3 is a generalization of this scattering situation. The discreteness of the grating translates the integral of quadratic phase factors into a sum. Recently, the combination of chirped pulses together with an appro...
